1. What is a NJ state licensed home improvement contractor?
This is a home improvement contractor who does residential work and who must be licensed with the state of new jersey. This contractor must keep his application current, show proof of liability insurance, provide written estimates for any work $500.00 or greater. Other guidelines for contracts are also required. Building permits for work will only be issued to NJ licensed home improvement contractors.
2. Why choose a contractor who is certified/authorized by manufacturer?
